How to pause a thread until a specific date

You can type any date or duration into the Pause for later search field and Plain will parse it. You are not limited to the preset options such as Tomorrow and Next week.

1. Open the command palette with cmd+K, or ctrl+K on Windows and Linux.
2. Search for Pause for later and select it.
3. Type a date or duration in the search field, such as July 15, next Monday, in 5 days or August 3rd 09:00.
4. The date you typed appears as an option. Select it to pause the thread until that time.

   By default the thread reopens at 08:00 in your local time. You can change this in Preferences, under Working Hours.

   A few more things to know:

• The maximum pause is 60 days from today.
• Choose Indefinitely to pause without a timer.
• Your recently used pause times are saved and appear as quick-pick options in the list.
• Paused threads return to your queue at the wake-up time and move back to Todo automatically.
