Sign in with Microsoft

microsoft-login.png

Sign in with Microsoft lets you access Plain using a personal Microsoft account, the same account you use for Outlook, OneDrive, or other personal Microsoft services.

This option is for individuals who want to sign in to Plain using a personal Microsoft account. It works with:

  • @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, and @msn.com addresses

  • Personal Microsoft accounts registered under a third-party email address, such as a Gmail address

It does not work with work or school accounts managed by your company's IT department. If your organisation uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), you need SSO configured for your workspace instead. See Single sign-on (SSO) and Directory sync (SCIM).

How to sign in

  1. Go to the Plain sign-in page

  2. Select Continue with Microsoft

  3. Sign in with your personal Microsoft account when prompted

  4. You will be taken to your Plain workspace

Using SSO with Microsoft for your whole team

If your organisation uses Microsoft Entra ID, you can configure SSO so that your entire team signs in to Plain through your identity provider. This is available on the Frontier plan. To get started, see Single sign-on (SSO) and Directory sync (SCIM) or get in touch.
