Each Plain plan includes a monthly Sidekick credit allowance. It's your team's AI budget for the month, and it resets at the start of each billing cycle.

Ari does not consume credits.

Each Plain plan includes a monthly credit allowance:

Your allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle. Credits included in your plan don't roll over to the next cycle.

If your workspace needs more credits than your plan includes, you can purchase additional credits as an add-on.

What uses credits?

Sidekick

Sidekick is your in-thread AI assistant. A conversation with Sidekick can have multiple prompts. The amount of credits a conversation consumes will vary based on the complexity or effort required. When you move to another thread, your next prompt will start a new conversation.

FAQ

What happens when my allowance is used up?

Sidekick pauses until your allowance resets at the start of the next billing cycle, or until you add more. Everything else in Plain keeps working normally.

Can I purchase more credits mid-cycle?

Yes. Contact your account team or email support@plain.com and we can top up your credits on demand.

Do credits roll over?

Any credits purchased as an add-on will roll over month to month.

Credits included in your plan reset monthly and don't carry over.
